The day-use area is thoughtfully designed for both comfort and access. It includes two bathhouses and picnic pavilions equipped with grills, making it easy to spend an entire day by the ocean. Near the main parking area are two beach walkovers. The first is a sturdy Trex boardwalk with steps leading direct to the beach. The second offersa amore nature experience, using mat material that transitions into a sandy stretch near the shoreline. A thired walkover, located a bit farther south, also features picnoc pavilions with grills and a Trex walkway that ends in a shorter sandy path – another execllent access point to the beach.

Beyond the shoreline, Little Talbot Island invites exploration.
Hiking and biking trails wind through the island’s interior, offering glimpses of dunes, forests, and marshland, connecting to Big Talbot Island. Kayaking and paddleboarding are popular in the surrounding tidal creeks, while a small fishing pier provides a peaceful spot to cast a line. Just across the street fromthe beach access lies the campground, which is as thoughtfully maintained as the rest of the park. An ADA-accessible campsite provides ample paved space and a direct path to the bath facilities, making the campground welcoming for all visitors. Ther are two expceptionally clean bathhouses with flush toilets and hot showers- perfect for comfort.

One of the campground’s quiet highlights is its view of the surrounding salt marshes.
At low tide, oyster beds emerge, creating a striking natural landscape- and as evening approaches, the marsh becomes the perfect place to watch the sun set in glowing shades of gold and pink.
